Morschenich is a small town near the forest of Hambach. Its future is uncertain as the town may give way to the adjacent open-pit mining. Parts of the town are abandoned and several houses are waiting to be demolished. This series documents the partially inhabited village in its state of limbo including its immediate surroundings.
